Power Flow

(All Levels) Power Flow is an active, flowing practice emphasizing movement coordinated with the breath. The joy of a good flow class is the ability to lose oneself in the practice. Expect a cardiovascular and strength building workout. This is a fast-paced class, so a basic understanding of sun salutations, asana, and ujjayi breathing is highly recommended.

Align and Refine

(Beginners and All Levels) This Anusara-InspiredTM Yoga class combines the precision of healthy alignment with mindful awareness of the breath. A counter-balance to the fluidity of flow classes, expect meticulous instruction and longer holds to build strength and stamina, develop flexibility, and promote balance from the inside out.

Yoga for Climbers

(Beginners and All Levels) There is a synergy between yoga and rock climbing. Both disciplines involve precise movement linked with breath, strength, and intense mental focus. Although we will be relating yoga movement to climbing movement, this class is appropriate and beneficial for any yoga practitioner.  The focus here is on increasing hip flexibility, correcting muscle imbalances in back and shoulders, and strengthening the core.

New Students

New students are always welcome in our classes.  Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that is not too loose. Avoid eating immediately before class or eat lightly.

If you have injuries or underlying medical issues, please contact the studio for advice on which class is best for you and inform the teacher before class begins.  As always, please consult your Doctor before beginning a new exercise regimen.

Classes that are particularly new yogi friendly are Slow Flow and Precision Practice.
